2nd trip to 'the blue toon' in 3 days. Work today though. Definitely prefer working on land though. Don't fancy being at sea in amongst all this rusty, salty equipment.

Summer holidays over, back to Sunday football taxi service.  Was good to see the sun coming out for the spectators.  Didn't look like it was going to be that nice with the fog rolling into Peterhead, but it did brighten up nicely.

Rather wet BBQ today, but the kids had a ball between the wet bouncy castle, minecraft on the xbox projector screen and generally causing chaos around the house.  Glad it wasn't our house and we don't have the cleaning up to do on Sunday.

Just managed to catch No1 unawares son as he dashed around for a photo without a tounge sticking out.

As much as these little USB sticks are handy, I hate them. Works fine for months and between midnight and 9am it manages to corrupt itself and become totally unreadable format.

Summers I. It's way out! Kids are back to school, we're waking up to damp foggy mornings with the cars all wet and the automatic headlights are coming on on the way home from work. Least the recent car waxing is doing its beading tricks.

Friday afternoon golf outing beats working any day! 

Edzell today was looking good in the sunshine. 1 squally shower over 2 holes got us damp but not enough to spoil a solid round of golf. 

Champagne 2nd place team prize was nice but the real bonus was winning a very good raffle prize.

Trip to kids A&E to get a finger X-ray, thankfully just torn cartilage and not broken.

Another wet day, to say the least.  Puddles everywhere from the torrential showers which prevented the usual outdoor weekend chores getting done.  At least the cars were washed without lifting a bucket.

Late pub lunch/early dinner for the boys and a cheeky beer/wine for mum and dad. 

Number 1 son has apparently outgrown the kids menu and needed to eat off the full menu, and he did almost finish an  adult fish and chips.

Minus child 01 day 04, starting to think that no 1 son has moved out and we could advertise a room to rent. He'll be in for a shock when he comes home and school term starts again in 16 days time.

Turned out to be a nice day as predicted by the red sky last night, but it did take a while to show itself.
Bee's were busy working away as we sat reading the papers in the garden.

Productive day of early morning 20km cycle, followed by some house junk sorting and tidying up, recycling trips, ironing, grass cutting etc.  Roll on Monday morning for a break.
